From what I can decipher from your post, NO you do not waste your time and money pouring useless [ it will freeze, put some in your freezer if you doubt me ] marine /RV anti freeze into the bilge and livewell. You pull the drain plug located in the bottom of the transom and make sure your boat is tilted with the bow in the up position. The livewell should be drained and sponged out if need be. If you can reach the drain hose remove it from the livewell. Water should not be able to make its way into the well unless it poorly designed.

No need for anything in the bilge. Store boat bow high with drain plug removed. Live well should self drain as well.

Yes, the only problem with just having gravity drain the bilge and livewell is if there is a dip in the supply or drain hose for the livewell. In that case, if you can access the hoses, move them around so this can't happen.

Yes, I do put a splash of windshield washer fluid or anti freeze into the livewells just in case I have a dip in the drain line. Windshield washer fluid of the -60C grade will not freeze in my freezer or car, unless -61C. I'm not sure what to do about the fill lines of the well pumps. If there is a big enough leak in the supply line downstream of the pump the boat may eventually sink if the bilge can't keep up with the leak in the fill line. I do run my pumps for a few seconds until I don't see any water going into the wells, leave the pet cocks open then give her a drink of anti freeze. Maybe I am wasting my time but I sleep better at night being anal and dollars to donuts as soon as I don't do what I do something bad is going to happen, so I think

. If the boat is tilted up high enough water will run downhill.

Just blow out any lines or drains with compressed air. I do the whole water system in my SeaRay Sundancer that way (13 years). A little water here and there won't hurt thing anyways.
