Winterize a 2-stroke that is used every month or so in winter?

1995 Yamaha 175 - Used every month to six weeks or so during the winter. Stored outside with cover. Should it be fogged between uses? Any other winter maintanence required?

San Diego winter, does that exist?<br />If you use it seldom, add a little extra two stroke oil in the gas and the interiors will be fatter for storage. A barrel run on freshwater before each 1 month storage would lessen chrystalized salt in the cooling channels and thereby corrosion.
