I know its a bit early for this and I may be in the wrong forum, but!,
How many of you have to winterize your boat then unwinterize in order to take it south and then rewinterize it again before you go home?
we are heading to Fl in January and live in ontario.
Comments? referrals? suggestions?

We take ours out of the fresh water the end of Sept. and tow it south to
FL in mid Oct. Around here in the (3000 ft) western Maryland mountains it can get to freezing by then. I've put a 100 watt trouble light down in the bilge area several times to prevent a freeze. Same thing on the Spring return... May 1st.
One year we got delayed and had to winterize in Oct and tow it down in Dec. Definitely freezing by then!

hey, thats something I never thought of ..(trouble light) problem is we will have freezing tempatures in December thru to our trip in jan. I would like to hear from those guys that do it themselves. i wonder if I could cheat for the month of december and the trip down and then actually winterize it on the way back..
(i will give you a call Cap)
