I am wintering my 1999 Mercruiser EFI and I'm new to this.

The photos can be view on attached link as I could not load them here, do not know why. They are out of the Mercruiser owner?s manual. As you can see, the previous owner put some notes and scribbled some points out. The problem I have is he correct or not??

I have found four blue drain plugs.

In picture #1 - it states -
a- Cylinder block drain
b-Exhaust Manifold drain plug (Port and Starboard)
c- water tube drain plug. (this is one below the engine mount can not be viewed / only felt.)

Picture #2 - I have removed a plug which is described as Y-fitting drain plug.

In all I can only locate four plugs. On the port side I have a red (hot) water line, which provides water to a stern shower pump system. I believe this would in some cases be described as a cylinder block plug.

Can someone tell me, have I found them all?? I'd appreciate it as this book with the additions and scratches, is making me question myself

I'm unable to upload the photos..hence the link.

If you have a shower system make sure you blow out the lines coming from the block drains, then the 2 in the exhaust manifolds, the "under the engine" for the cool fuel system, and you probably have one on the bottom of the circ pump on the front of the motor.
