Winterizing a 1981 omc 3.8 and omc stringer 800

I have a new to me boat that I need to winterize. I need to find the locations of all the drain points. I have only ever owned mercruisers. Anything special with the omc I should know about. I downloaded the manual in the adults only section, but it was very vague about locations.

This is in a 1981 sea ray v197.
Any help would be great. Thanks

there's 4 drains (+1 more if you have power steering)

1 on each manifold
one on each side of the block, just astern of the selectrim mounts- the starboard side between the fuel pump and starter is the toughest to get

remove the plugs and poke wire in all holes.

then you can take either end of the u shaped water pump hose off and tip it to drain

Thanks. What about the outdrive. Does anybody know where to find the factory service manuals.

What about the outdrive.

change the gear lube in all 3 compartments
change the clutch compartment lube
store the drive in the full down position so water does not run in the prop and crack the impeller housing

Okay I was looking over the motor and found a exterior crack in the manifold on the starboard side. Not sure if it would be worth trying to weld or not. I found a used pair for 100 dollars. Haven't been able to look at them yet they are from a 1984 motor. Would they fit

1981-1985 3.8's all used the same manifolds.
