Winterizing a trailered boat?

Hey, all.
Now that the snow is starting to fly in my latitude, I'm wondering what steps everyone takes to winterize their trailered motor boats.
Thanks for the advice!

I just make sure mine is still in the backyard...

In your case, I would clean, inspect and repack wheel bearings. This would ensure that no water was in there to rust over the winter or freeze and crack a bearing or a hub...

If you have, brakes, I would inspect them and maybe put an anti-rust inhibitor on them. Grease any rollers, etc.

Not really that much to do...

Standard outboard prep. There many pages on that.
Pull plug so any water drains. Put on dash beside steering wheel.
remove battery.
Put up on blocks so tires are off ground.
Put large tarp over with lots of support so snow doesn't collapse it.
Sweep snow off periodically over winter.
