Winterizing

I'm new at this game. I just got a 91 Starcraft Eurostar with a 4.3 Mercruiser with an Alpha 1 out drive. To winterize it, can I just take out all the plugs and let it drain that way as well as the oil ? Or do I have to take it to someone who specializes in it ?

Ayuh,... Pull the drain plugs, 'n make sure they ain't blocked up...
Drain the P/S cooler, if so equipped...
Pull the Big hose off the circulating water pump, 'n ya should be Good for sub-0 temps...

No reason to drain the oil, unless yer changin' it...

Yep, and double check your work. I missed a drain plug once. It was not pretty. :facepalm:
