When winterizing my omc stringer drive, I will empty the water from the block, add rv coolent.....Should i also drop the lower unit and add rv coolent to that too??

Yes! Water can get in there and split the casings just like in an engine block. Go ahead and change the gear oil when winterizing as well, you don't want any of the potential contaminants sitting in there all winter. It's probably debatable, but I like to pull the outdrive off and store it in my basement... Just make sure you cover up the gimbal housing good and get a new set of gaskets each year. The gaskets are $7 on my Cobra, and well worth the piece of mind doing a complete annual inspection.
