WIRE IN CYLINDER HEAD?

I have a 1979 100 horse evinrude, there is a tan wire that comes out of the cylinder head,it is not connected to anything, where should it go? motor does run good.

If you hook that wire to the right box it will turn the motor into a 140.<br /><br />Sorry, couldnt resist. Can you tell its a slow day in the office? Seriously, that is the sensor foe the overheat alarm. Real good idea to hook it up and make sure the horn works.

Yes, there should be one in each head. They both go to the same place so you can tie them together.
