The boat I bought came with one battery and my neighbor just gave me another marine battery. I want to have both batteries wired into a switch. Can anyone explain how to??

My boat has no fuse panels or anything just the power wires.

THANKS

What kind of switch?
If your talking a Perko or simular then follow the wiring diagram that comes with the perko switch.
Otherwise we need to know what kind of switch and what its used for.

Oh yea....get a fuse panel too. It may keep your boat from burning down to the water line.

That diagram covers the large battery cable connections. All loads (the actual devices you are powering) get connected to the COM terminal on the switch. The only exception would be an automatic bilge pump which would get wired directly to either battery.
