Wiring an 85 Force 1987?

I have a 1987 Force 85 HP Mod 856X78 Ser 4185

I do not have controls or wiring harness for the motor. But I want to test run it and evaluate the motor before spending money on a wiring harness.
I have 2 questions
1. Can I connect fuel and earmuffs and start this thing with no wiring harness by shorting the solenoid and using the choke to shut it off?

2 Does anyone have an illustrated wiring diagram so I can connect wires to the connection block and rig a key switch to it for testing?

The ignition is self energising, so if you jump the solenoid, battery side red to yellow small terminal on solenoid, and choke it by hand, it will start and run.

To stop it just jump white to blue or ground (black) on the engine terminal strip.
