Wiring Diagram questions

I’m looking to rewire my entire 16’ Starcraft SS and found a wiring diagram that I believe will fit my needs. I do have a few questions however. Would it be better if each device had its own dedicated circuit in the breaker panel apposed to the entire switch panel on one breaker as shown? Shouldn’t the bilge float switch be wired directly to a battery so it can still function in the off position for emergency reasons? And finally, my radio has a 15 amp fuse in the back of it but it still needs an inline fuse or a circuit breaker correct? Note worthy: my Alternator only has an 5 amp output so it is not enough to keep both my house and starter batteries charged up simontenuoualy.

In the diagram it looks like the switch panel includes breakers for each circuit so as long as those breakers are smaller than the main, each circuit is individually protected and a single one won't trip the main. For the bilge pump, the wire from the float switch does go to the battery switch, but it looks to be connected to the same post as the main lead from the battery so it will have power all of the time.

Yes, you're right that panel has build-in breakers (I missed that), mine does not...

If you're using a switch panel that doesn't have breakers for each circuit you will want to feed each switch from a separate fuse / breaker to prevent a failure in any one circuit from blowing the main feed to the switch panel.

If my marine radio has a 15amp fuse in the back of it, does it still need an inline fuse in the run to the bus bar?
