I have two Scotty electrics, I'll need to wire. My fuse block is under the steering console and the battery is at the stern, where the DRs will be installed. The boat is a 16.5 ft aluminum.

Is it too much length (to the battery) to wire these into the fuse block?

I have pretty heavy guage wire from the fuse block to the battery.

Any help appreciated.

Marty

Personally it doesnt sound worth the hassle of going forward to a fuse, then back aft again. If you really want a fuse, get some automotive inline jobbys and put them somewhere in a nice place, but not where you have to run the wire on a special trip just to get there... if everything goes to plan, you won't need to replace them often anyhow!
Craig
