wiring info needed,55 evinrude

Hi, I recently took an engine that was off anouther boat, as I bought the boat and motor when they were seperated, I have no idea where the wires go from the box,ect..<br />I know I should get amanual, but I live in northern ,Mn and fish opener next week, can anyone help me with this?.<br />1974?,55hp Evinrude(Mod# 55873R,JO 5575 ).<br />Thanks in advance.<br /><br />Pine Lake<br /><br />pinelake@ecenet.com

is there a plug on the end of the control harness?

There is a plug and 3 wires,two are black and one is blue, this motor diddn't go to this boat and a freind of mine is switching everything over,he also is having some trouble under the steering wheel with wires,any chance anyone got a wiring diagram to scan and email,or send?.<br />Thanks.
