Ok guys, I need some help. I've got a real simple question, but since I'm not an electrician by trade, I'm gonna make sure first. Here's a little summary, just in case I have more questions in the future:
I've been researching and studying as much as I can. I'm about to attempt to completely rewire my boat, which is just a little 15 foot glass VIP. I jokingly refer to it often as my "piece of crap boat," but it's not really that bad, it's just not fancy, and needs a lot of work.
Like I said, nothing fancy, right now all I have is a battery for the outboard (35 horse Johnson) and a separate battery for the trolling motor. All I am wanting to do is fix the anchor and nav lights, add some small interior lights, wire in my little bilge pump, and leave a spot for electronics. I think that's all I need.
This thread http://forums.iboats.com/electrical...otors/basic-i-mean-****-jane-spot-568009.html has been a big help, and I think I've found the switch panel and fuse panel I want. My only question right now is, since the switch panel has "reset breakers", do I still need the fuse panel? Or is that something completely different?
Thanks,
