When rewiring my boat from scratch, I found that small P-clips work well for holding wires & wire bundles in place. Buy the plastic type, snip off the inner straight leg of the "P" and attach them to your boat wherever you like with a generous dollop of good adhesive sealant. When the sealant oozes out of the screw hole on the clip, flatten it a bit with your finger, let dry and your wires will go and stay wherever you want them to. If the surface is clean, dry and rough like raw fiberglass usually is, it´s very strong. I had to use pair of pliers to pry one off that I had put in the wrong spot. You can then use tie-wraps to further consolidate and tie up the looms.<br />You seasoned, salty sailors probably have been doing this for decades, but perhaps some other newbies find this of benefit...
