(2) 1992 200 HP JOHNSONS- TAN OR BROWN WIRE FROM MOTOR TO KEY. ITS LOOSES ON BOTH MOTORS WHERE DOES IT GO AND WHAT IS IT FOR? ANY SUGGESTION WILL HELP. JUST GOT MOTORS.

Tan wire is for overheat horn in control. It goes to temp sender in head on back of motor.
