Lets take a break guys. What is your all-time confidence bait? When nothing is working, there is hi pressure (atmospheric), fish are holding tight to cover what do you tie on and toss?<br /><br />Mine isn't made anymore It was the 6" Berkely power ringworm in brown pumpkinseed. Now I settle for the 7" worm in the same color, minus the rings.<br /><br />At night a black spinnerbait with a single colorado blade is my all time favorite.

depends on species... for bass it's a #3 Mepps<br />aglia bucktail spinner, gold blade.

My all time favorite for Largemouths would be a 4" Black/Silver floating Rapala.<br /><br />I hear ya GG, my favorite plastic worm was a 7" power worm in the Purple/Shad color. Can't find that color anymore for some reason.

good choice carp the mepps would be #1 for casting,<br />but I'll take the rapala as #1 for trolling...<br />make mine the broken back please.

Ditto on what GaugeGuy said. I aint seen a scalely, large mouth female yet that'd turn down an 8" worm.

for me its the rubber worm, was using berkleys red shad power worm rigged texas style, unweighted with a little glass rattle inserted. but i have been using Gary Yamamoto's senko worms rigged the same way and seem to get more hits. i know for certain the bass are hanging on to the worm longer than they did the power worm. also working a small spinner bait like a jig has been good to me.

No doubt about it the yamammota senko. When this bass are finicky I always have good results with them. I fish them on a gammgatza #2 hook weightless. This rig is deadly in the weeds, and on weed edges. Work em slow, when you think you are slow enough slow down some more. Like fshkpr said, the bass will hang onto these worms longer for some reason. <br /><br /># 2 bait would be a shallow running jointed rapala early in the morning along weed edges.

sucker: nightcrawler<br />channel cat: sucker<br />sm bass: berkley powerbait twisty tail jig in pumpinseed and white head jig.<br />lm bass: black roostertail<br />walleye: mono spinner in silver blade/red bead with nightcrawler.<br />steelhead: #4 bluefox vibrax in green (trolling or bank fishing)

Three #2 Fluke or Flounder hooks on a Fluke/Flounder Rig, with a strip of squid or Pork Rind, topped off with a chunk of clam.<br /><br />Drop that to the bottom, next to my chum pot, and it's fish city!<br /><br />Too bad there are only a few keepers.<br /><br />Only type of lures used, are for BlueFish, usually a just a Diamond Jig, but them BlueFish will bite just about anything that looks like something to eat.

I thought that was Toad that admitted that? <br /><br />Never heard of Yamomoto worms, just checked them out and I believe I will be purchasing a few bags, thanks guys. Are they flimsy like a regular worm or more like a sluggo?

When I am fishing for northerns I use a beetlespin. When I am fishing for bass I use a beetlespin. When I fish for crappies and sunfish I use a beetlespin. Every once in awhile I fish for walleyes. I have to change my fishing habits fishing for them so then I use a beetle spin.
