wobble ... and knocking. see video

I have been trying to find this ticking sound for weeks. the drrive shaft has a small wobble in it and it is tapping either the gimbal bearing or something. I replaced all the o rings what esle would cause this?

Numerous things can cause noise. There is a lot going on. Try pulling the drive and running it... see if its in the motor or drive.

here is a list of repairs. ...

Replaced:
gimbal bearing
u joints
o rings
drive lube ( was pristine before hand)
and all bellows.
here is a video of the shaft wobbling....

With the drive off, no noise.

Did you use an alignment bar after the gimble bearing change?

alignment is dead on... ujoints and gimbal are new, so coupler? How could the alignment be good but the coupler be bad?

Did you check the alignment at every 90 degrees of the engine? That would tell you if the coupler is good and true. But the rubber looks like its letting go or something. If it continues, it will prolly damage all the parts you just changed.

I swear I can hear the gimbal bearing roar like it is damaged. Maybe jus the video.

Time to inspect again.
