Wondering if some one makes a kit to disable oil pump on a 96 200 efi mariner

I'm looking for instructions and the parts needed to properly shut down the oil injection on a 96 200 efi mariner . I have heard you need a plug for the pump hole . alien plug for a ck valve and other things . I'm looking for a kit with instructions for the hole deal if it is available .

Block off call Pro Marine. 1-800-621-7761.
Go to a Merc/Mariner dealer for a manual for your motor. More pricey than after market but well worth it. Also watch Ebay..............

Why can't you just pinch off the oil input line to the pump? The pump might not like it, but if you aren't using it, who really cares?

Just remove the pump take out the drive gear and reinstall the pump and spacer good luck. Ted
