first time out this year my altenator belt broke switched to another baterie and it ran fine but on the way home i hit a large branch the boat started vibrating and i lost about 15 knots the boat still made it home put new prop on it same pitch the old one spun put new belt on took it for a test run now you can smell rubber from the altenator belt its loose now so i took a voltage meter to the bateries its got 12.4 volts it seems be charging but if you turn the bateries of you can hear the fuel pump get louder would this problem not let me get up on plane or do i have to problems now altenator and ? 351 cobra i/o efi
