wood dash

My dash on my Cobalt 252 is faded and crazing. It appears to be a faux wood on a semi-rigid vinyl material that was applied to the stock dash. Anybody had any luck refinishing or replacing? Thanks

Look in my photobucket projects folder for some pics. If you have trouble finding the account, check out my update thread in the aristocraft forum section. The woods I chose were mahogany and maple. Everything you see ther is solid. I used no veneers at all and the entire gauge pod can be removed with three hidden screws.
