Wood in boats

Were there any fiberglass boats built in the 80"s that didn't have wood decks or stringers?
Maybe boat brands that weren't as bad as some others?

Most of them from that era have wood cores, covered in glass. Yes there are better brands.

i'd think not many would the the word too.

but there are some...
like my Aristocraft (read the fiberglass brochures in the link. under vintage boats). it's billed as wood free i believe. mostly it is too. not saying there isn't some wood in it. but not a lot. not stringers for sure as there isn't any. these boats ceased production in '80. from about '60- 1980 these boats were in production. funliners are also mostly wood free.

Arimas after 1985 are fiberglass stringers. May have wood in the transom though.
