Hi. I have a 1993 26' Rinker with a 454 chev and a mercruiser bravo 2 out drive, can anyone tell me what the full out throttle rpm should be?

42-4600 rpm.

Well I think I have a bad tac. it reads almost 5000 rpm. motor sounds good, the tac reads 1000 or so when the motor is not runing

Ayuh,.... Run it on a shop tach, 'n Check it... if it's Bad, replace it...
