I have heard conflicting opines on running a 2 stroke. Without getting into prop and load/hull config, we'll just say those influences are optimal, do these guys really want to run at full throttle, and its good for them?
i have always ran mine at about what I perceive about 80% of WOT. I have never had to rebuild, or toss a motor, because of engine internal breakdown.
I am always doing what I can to maintain those systems that support a healthy motor, and that includes a better grade of products ( or I buy the marketing reasoning anyway  ).
I am interested in hearing otherwise. Again, I am not talking fuel burn, or other concerns, just the opinions about pushing a motor to its peak ( not over RPM's) .
Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL
