Would a 1969 14? Raycraft?s stringer design be similar to this design attached? Stringers in both directions enclosed in fiberglass. I have a soft spot I need to address but I?m curious as what to expect. I can feel hard stringers close to the soft spot but I wonder if they are enclosed with fiberglass. The Bottom Line! I want to fish 2-3 more times this season and be safe. Plus, 2-3 more seasons might be the end of me trying to maintain this boat that I called my starter in 1985. It turned out to be all I needed for my 5-8 short trips on the water per season.
Also attached are my inspection plugs from under the middle and rear seat. The rear soft spot is due to water accumulating under the floor (plugged) while the boat was stored (tarped) at an angle to drain at the bilge?s plug.
Thanks for any info.
