would a mariner 150 efi work?

hi:
i have a 1979 answer supreme 21 cuddycabin dry weight of the boat is 2,100 i would like to know if a mariner 150 efi would do the job on this boat and perform well , i would like to know if the 150 outboard would achieve a good aceleration and would run good with a 150 . i'll apreciate your help thanks

A 150HP motor will perform well on that boat, with the correct prop. I have a 21 Dual Console with a 150 Johnson Carb motor at about 2800# dry weight. I had 8 people aboard and still pulled a tube easily.
