Would like to find out year - Chrysler 55 HP

Hi would like to see if someone can come up with the year for my Chrysler. Model 559H8K Serial # 3418. (see also post "what's next") Any other info on what the letter degignators might mean, any any other stuff would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ....Bill

My guess is a 1978. If H1 is 1981, HO is 1980 and H9 is 1979:<br />559 HA-HH, H8, H9, H0, H1 55HP year 1970-81<br />/Bear

Anyone know the proper plug for this puppy? Autolite or Champion #'s. ..Thanks

Boat202...Plugs are Champion UL18V is what the book calls for. No gapping is necessary...surface gap type plug. 1978 is correct on the year. Thought101
