...110,000 miles on Champion sparkplugs in a Chrysler 2.7L? 
Yep, they were well worn. Might be why the car started running crappy yesterday. Had NO idea they had been in that long, simply did not realize that I had racked up the milage. And, the valve cover seal for the #2 cylinder had failed, allowing oil to collect in the plug boot. Valve cover gaskets and seals only had 72K on them.
So new gaskets, seals and plugs will go in tomorrow. Hopefully this will correct the problems, rather than the $500 catalytic converter that I feared it was.
