Glad I found this site!:D
I just bought an Edinboro 170 in July. Didn't get to use her much, but when I did I really liked the way it handled. So, much so, I've decided to restore it to it's original set up. Hope everyone is ready for a ton of questions! ;)
Ok,... so maybe I'll start with just one.
Does anyone have an Edinboro with original seats and seat boxes? Mine has aftermarket seats that don't fit well. I could use a photo or two and some dimensions of them so I can make some up. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank Guys!

welcome ed !
I've replaced my seats with aftermarket stuff -as the interior and floor were gutted long before i got my mfg . The sun 'n ski back to back recliners are still offered by a couple of manufacturers-check the iboats store .Also read Mark42 's projects(follow the link at the bottom of his post) He has detailed many aspects of fixing up your craft . P.S. We LOVE picts

Ed,

This site http://www.fiberglassics.com/mfg/ has a ton of info for MFG's. They even have all the advertisement brochures from each year the MFG's were made. Those pics will give you a great idea as to what your boat looked like originally. On the left of the screen you'll see how they have the brochures broken down by decade. Hope these help!!!

ed , I hope your edinboro cuts up the water like my oxford . when I first got working on my boat , I read a post by mark on how well these boats handle . I was'nt disapointed!! she handles more like a PWC than a boat !

Hi Guys ,
Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes Fiberglassics is a good site. I occasionally post over there. What I like about this site is ... It's MFG only. I can get 1st hand experence here! Sure, reading about all the other classics is fun, but being a MFG owner is special! Thans for the tip on the seats I'll check out Mark42's thread. Lastly I have tried to post a photo using tinypic .com Hope it comes out
Thanks Ed

Hi Guys,
I live in Massachusetts, up on the North Shore. Beautiful area.
Lots of nautical stuff around here. Here's another photo!... I hope. Still trying to get this photo hosting thing down.
