The first min., well, my guess is he was excited, dog was OK.
Watch after that, it's a freekin sideways river, wow, check it out.

Also look at the google map, can you say "built"?

Have you seen anything like that?

Not me shooting, I would have done a better job with the camera.

Yup, that's the one.

Here is,

Ventura Harbor, San Buenaventura (Ventura), CA
Link: <http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Ventura+Harbor,&sll=34.249448,-119.264833&sspn=0.042355,0.052185&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Ventura+Harbor&ll=34.253598,-119.265776&spn=0.04136,0.054159&z=14>

The flow going back would be as bad.

Of course when a tsunami warning is up you run to the docks instead of high ground.

That was pretty mellow. Theres a place called ripple rock just out side of Campbell River that when the tide goes out there is sink holes that open up in the water. These holes can get up to about 10-15 feet wide and as deep. I guess the neat thing about that is the wave came from Chile. The ocean is a very power full force.
