I am almost finished with the transom replacement project on my '74 Baja. I was drilling the engine bolt holes and did not think and drilled them perfectly level in relation to the ground. the problem is that the back of my boat has an angle of more than 90 degrees. so now if you put a bolt in it cvant sit flat. what should I do? I was thinking angled washers or something. Should I be afraid of making the hloe a little bigger to correct the angle or will the angled washers work?<br />Thanks

Re: Wrong Angle

I'd tape the low side of the holes, get them filled with epoxy, then redrill them properly. You might have to thicken some epoxy and fill the holes in several applications to get them solid.
