wrong prop?

I removed a 70hp johnson off of a tri haul and put it on a starcraft aluminum v bottom boat i cant get the boat to plane what should i do?

How about some more info like length of boat, length of lower unit, height of transom and the answer to kenny's question.

Here at 3600ft above sea-level, to reach the correct RPM on a 17ft alum Starcraft SS with an 85HP V4 Johnson, it takes a 13-3/4X15P.
Now, consider I've lost basically 12% of my HP due to altitude. I'd say if your engine is healthy and you are less than 500ft above sea-level, a 15P should be close.
