I have a 1990 Evenrude XP150, runs and acts good, completely stock,kinda doggy out of the hole unless I use a 22 pitch or something (Bassboat)but I use a 24 3 blade regularly. What can I do to this stock engine to gain more horse but keep the $ low? Jets, boyesen reeds, shave the heads (how mutch), or any other useful pieces of advice.
