I need some expert advice on oil and i know from experience that this is the place to find it. I have a Seadoo that i have been running XPS synthetic oil in. What is everyone's opinion on running Amsoil Interceptor synthetic instead? The reason i'm asking this is i have a chance to buy a large quantity of the Amsoil a a great price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Angus

We had two Sea-Doos, and we ran Amsoil in both and never had a problem at all during the 10 years running most every weekend on the Mississippi River.

Thanks for your reply Raven. Did your Seadoo's have Rotax engines?

Amsoil Interceptor is great. I run it in all my skis (3 sea doos, 2 with RAVE valves). Never had an issue.

Yes, they were Rotax. Wife had a !994 XP 650 (80HP) and I had a 1995 XP 800 Limited Edition. Actually a 782cc 110HP with R.A.V.E.
Step son had a Kawasaki 900 triple that would foul NGK plugs. He didn't use Amsoil. I would take them and soak them in White Vinager for a couple of days. To prove that it works, I put the cleaned NGK plugs in my XP in the springtime and ran the same 2 plugs all summer. I would like to think that the Amsoil allowed me to do this. Never had any buildup on the R.A.V.E. valves. I logged over a 100 hours on the XP using Amsoil.
