xr6 good engine?

hello,i am looking at a 1994 astro wiyh a 150xr6.is this engine reliable?thanks,roy

Engines are great, the small lower units they used aren't. When they break, it usually a total loss. Check to see if it has the V6 size or inline sized lower unit. Once you replace the small one will a regular V6 one, they run forever. After 12 years most of them have been upgraded.

those motors suck, mail it to me and ill dispose of it properly...
