I have a leak somewhere way down, ( it looks like the Y pipe, but I can't be sure until I pull the engine)....
I have the Y-pipe, but I can't seem to locate the part # for the 3 rubber o-rings that mate it to the transom plate....
It is a '73 model 888 s/n 3465919.....
Piece of crap only lasted 37 years in salt water!......
Perhaps the oracle can help?......:D

Here's a link to a parts diagram CLICK HERE

Looks like parts #19 & #20

Part#25-20863 for the large o-ring
Part#25-20863 each for the two small o-rings

Hope this helps out.

Also not sure if you would have to pull the engine or not to replace the y-pipe. I put the exhaust shutters (both sides) in mine the other day with out having to, even though the manuals said I would have to. I didn't really look to see if there was room to get the y-pipe out because I wasn't going that deep in to it.
