yahoo IM problems, can't see the message

talk to my wife over YIM<br /><br />She just installed the new version at home. I can see her messages fine, but she can not see mine. She will see the name pop up, but not the message behind it. <br /><br />Anyone run into this before? I'm not at home to trouble shoot, and I'm NOT going install the latest version on this computer.<br /><br />My google results have turned up nothing as of yet.

Finally fixed the problem.<br /><br />I got home to mess with the computer, and find that NO properties windows would appear, some websites would just show up blank. Try to download/install mcafee from mcafee website (I have a subscription) and it would be fine until the download page.<br /><br />Was able to login safe mode, make a 2nd user with admin right, login as user, install mcafee from cd, then download spybot S&D... found spyware AND virus's... now computer is all happy.<br /><br />This all from having a compute running for only 2 weeks without spyware/virus protection loaded.
