Yam 140 hour meter

Does anyone know where to connect an hour meter to a Yamaha 140, 1991? <br />Thanks,<br />Jeff.

yellow is key on 12v+. blk is ground and the new yamaha hour meters also use the green tach lead. all the leads are in or near the keyswitch and current gauges. the newer hour meters wont clock unless a tach signal and key on 12V is present. some hour meters clock with just key on 12v.

Thanks Rodbolt. Yellow would be the one I'm after, the hour meter is a function in my sounder and I just wasn't sure which wire to splice into.
