Re: Yam multi-function tach ?

hello
I have never seen a multi-function yamaha tach with 4-6-8-12. but I will go on a limb and say that normally the 4-6-8-12 refer to alenator poles. all v6 yamahas have a 12 pole altenator. best would be to email the tech services of whoever made the tach.if it is a yamaha analog tach it will set to 12.
good luck and keep posting

Re: Yam multi-function tach ?

Thanks Rodbolt.
I assume they are the original digital guages that came with this 89' motor. One has the tach, trim and oil, the other has the digital speed and fuel.
The adjuster was set at 12, but for some reason I did'nt think this was right
Makes sence thou... Cant remember ever seeing a Yammy V12 ;)
