My 2 yr old yam10 will not turn over more than a few revs. Seem as if something is stopping the process. I live in a cool remote area and will only take it in to the dealer if necessary. Battery is fine. Possibly oil is coagulated? If so, can I heat oil without draining? I was told of a kit available for this. Any suggestions?

More than likely, it has water in the lower unit, or it has a stuck ring.remove the plugs, and shoot some WD40 into the cylinders. Let it sit a while, and then try turning it by hand..If there is ice in the lower unit, stick the foot in hot water, if feasable, thaw, and then drain it.
