Help!! I have rebuilt my motor after two "pros" rebuilt it and it blew up twice. I found a crimp in one of the oil lines to the cylinder that was blowing. I had the sleeve replaced (RPI marine in Florida)as I was told that the old other was out of round and set down a bit too low. I have replaced the four coils on the back of the motor. The boat was running like a top, only ran it for about ten minutes. It was moored in the lake for a week. It started hard when and I ran it around for a short spin it just stopped. One side of the block was hotter than the other. I suspect that the heat sensor tripped and shut down the motor. After a few minutes, it started and ran ok but then stalled out quickly. I think that the compression is still OK. I am tempted to run oil in the gas as opposed to using the oil pump. Any ideas what could cause this problem?
