I have a 1996 yamaha 4 stroke outboard and the power trim is making a loud noise when putting the motor down on the 2 rams almost like the rams need to be lubricated, is there a way to lubricate these without causing any damage?
Tilt the motor all the way up. Put some good grease on the ram tips . The grinding noise will go away. Sure it's a 4 stroke not that it makes any difference?
