Hi All, New here on the Yamaha thread, and it been a while since on the forum at all, my BB 7.4L MerCruisers are running good. I recently bought a 2002 Sea Pro CC 180 with a 2002 Yamaha 115 2 stroke. She runs great. Unfortunately its getting cold here in NJ and I have only had her out once. When I got home and tried to flush the engine I noticed the flush line to be completely clogged. I traced the hose to the fitting in the photo under the lower cowling. The service manual says it just glued in with the locktite version of this
She is an early retirement present to myself as I am retiring in January. She will be a couple minutes from home and I plan to run her every nice day this summer. In the future if I really like her I will consider a repower with a 4 stoke. The 115 Suzukis are really sweet. I know everyone on this forum like photos so here she is. Bimini is going, would love a t-top if I can find one.
Any input is greatly appreciated. Have great night

and to remove just use mechanical force with some heat from a heat gun to assist. While I was in there inspecting it I did put a wrench on it, but it did not budge. In fear of breaking it though I did not apply much force as it seemed like plastic but judging by the cost of a new fitting I am assuming it not. I plan to keep this boat in the water next spring and would love to be able to flush it after each use. Any recommendations on how to remove it and where the system gets clogged. I am hoping it clogged at the fitting and I can just remove it, clear it and glue back in. BTW She is a salt water boat. She is an early retirement present to myself as I am retiring in January.
