In a previous thread, "Yam 130 Corrosion & Carb Problems", Ray recommended removing the engine mounted fuel filter and the fuel line quick disconnect to eliminate the fuel restrictions caused by both. I have done both of those remedies last year and have added a Raycor 10 micron filter/water separator. Engine runs very well since making that modification. The only problem I now have is that I do a regular de-carb with Seafoam and also use a 12 gallon portable tank for extra fuel. Is there some reliable, non-restrictive quick disconnect that I can use so I can quickly switch to my 1 gallon de-carb tank and my 12 gallon extra tank? I have mounted the Raycor filter in my engine well so it is very accessible . Could a non-restrictive quick disconnect be mounted to the Raycor fuel outlet to the engine and if so what kind?

Re: Yamaha 150 ETXN Quick Disconnect

Bound to be something that would work well, but I am not familiar with it. Merc and Omc also have gotten away from it. A high quality tank switcher is the best idea I can think of.
