Greetings and thankyou in advance.

While fiishing this weekend the alarm went off in the throttle control. turned off engine and cooled off. When restarted I noticed the water pressure would be 0 psi the when increasing rpm pressure would rise until high rpm was reached would loose all water pressure. I would slow down rpm and pressure would increase. All inlets were open. Should the water pressure remain the same regardless of RPM? Another issue(do not know if its related), when increasing throttle engine rpm would increae but boat woould not move faster. Should you be able to rotate prop(with rubber prop washer) with your hand?

Does it sound like a lower unit replacement?

I need help, have tournament in 2 weeks,

Thankyou

Re: yamaha 150 Pro V Issues

second problem sounds like you need your prop reworked--can you spin it with the motor in gear (pull the kill switch first!)? If so, prop problem. I had it happen to a Yam 50 without warning--didn't hit anything first to pop the bushing.
First problem-I don't know unless you are over-revving. Does it happen under 5000 rpm?
