I'm restoring a y 150 pro v having issues with water delivery. Replaced impeller, cup, and all related seals, cleaned water lines, new thermos. And I still cannot get any water out of the tell tell, and a very small amount out of exhaust. Any one got some ideas why I'm not moving water?

Probably too much salt layers, crusts inside powerhead if OB is, was used on salt water for long time periods. Try a long flushing with Salt Away and see what happens...

Odd to not see at least a little bit of water exiting T/T even with extensive corroded cooling system. So I'd go back to basics....drop LU to verify woodruff key is locked into impeller's notch and that water tube is inserting into impeller housing when reinstalling LU. And while you've got the LU dropped, before you reinstall LU take a high powered water hose nozzle and spray water up the water tube. Disconnect the T/T from the bottom cowling and spray water down the tube.

while you have the lower unit off rig a water hose onto the water pipe heading up to power head and turn on the water. no need to start motor.
if you get water flow out of TT you know the problem is in the lower unit/pump.
if not, blow some compressed air up the tell tale while water is running to make sure it is not plugged up and to clear debis away from its passages

is the rubber dampener next to water pump along with its suport in good shape not letting exhaust gasses to enter the water pump?

is the water pump housing in good shape with no signs of melting?

is the rubber grommet in place in the port the water tube slips into on pump?

I agree with the above posts. Are you using earmuffs or have the motor in a tank of some sort? Make sure you have suffcient water going into the intake. The water that comes from the pisser hole has nothing to do with the amount of water going thru the water jacket. Sounds like the problem is between the intake and pump.
