Does the pump push fuel out when the line is off? Did you blow out the jets and pins. Most contamination is in the jets and pins, not bowls floats. Use either with cleag fuel, then blow out with air gun or caned air.
hello<br /> is there fuel in the vapor seperator? do you hear the pump whine for 5 sec at key on power? the pumps can stick if not stored properly.<br /> good luck and post back and I can help ya more.<br /> sometimes I can help ya get the pump unstuck. I did see an add for them for 360 dollars someplace.
thanks,took pump offand soaked it in carb cleaner{lower 2/3's}hooked jumpers to it.pump whines but no fuel.dealer says 704.00sounds like alot for a fuel pumphow do u get 1 unstuck?
hello<br />with the pump removed from the tank and on the bench try pumping antifreeze through it backwards. ethelyne glycol wont damage it but more importantly wont ignite as fast. HOWEVER it will burn so make all connections away from the pump. submerge the pump upright in a container of glycol. momentarily hook it up with reverse polarity. then with the pump still totally submerged try it again with normal polarity.<br /> good luck and keep posting but I did see them someplace for about 360 or so.
thanks guys,tried the antifreeze and reverse polarity.no luck.went ahead and ordered a new one.found a company in fla that gave a 25% discount.528 is better than704 i really appreciate the help thanks again roy
