Will the trim relay work sometimes, but not others just before it goes completely bad? Or will it quit all at once? Before I order a trim relay for my motor I need to know. I received several responses to a previous thread about my trim making a "click" sound several times before finally getting a full up or down response from my motor. I was told it might be the switch at the bennical mount and it might be the relay. It seems if it were the switch at the bennical, then the switch on the motor itself would work. Both switches (dual engines) at the bennical click and so does the one directly on the outboard. Therefore, I feel this is in the relay. I cleaned all contacts, but continue to get several "clicks" from the relay before I get the motor to trim down or up. Need some more advice before ordering parts or taking this thing in to the shop.
