Yamaha 200 winterizing and heated storage.

Hello Everyone,

I'm thinking about moving to heated storage this winter so I can work on the boat over the off season. Do I need to winterize the outboard? The marina manager said that none of the boats utilizing their heated storage winterize. Any thoughts?

Most outboards are self draining.
So the winterization is usually adding Stabil and fogging the cylinders.
A heated storage is a great thing!! If the heat went out???
The stabil is a good idea even in a heated shed.
I lived in Mi. and the only thing I did was fog the cylinders,add stabil on the last trip out(that way it circulates better)
Then leave it tilted down.
